TEMPTALIA NAKED 3 PREVIEW!
These 2 image is from the above link and looks gorgeous!
This shows a comparison between all 3 with the naked 3 opened at the bottom! Now I have been STRUGGLING so hard to figure out which one to get.
I'm fairly sure I'm a warmer neutral tone so apparently Naked 1 is for me. But Naked 2 is so similar and has a MATTE black but apparently is for cooler tones. Honestly, I barely use black and when I do why would I want shimmer?
But now with Naked 3 I am so confused. The pinky rose gold shades are gorgeous and something I would love to rock because I feel it definitely can warm up my face and eyes (I'm slowly tanning up now with summer and have brown eyes with a hint of greeny gold sometimes)
I would LOVE some help from anyone who has used 1 or 2 ! Or even if you can make an educated guess on the tones that Naked 3 will suit!
What do you all think in general? Are they milking it to death or improving with each release?
I have Naked 2, I chose it because I am more cool/neutral toned and it is not as warm-toned across the board as Naked 1. It has a mix of warm browns and golds and coolish taupe and mushroom shades, so you can do a very warm look with the shimmery gold and deep reddish brown shades, or a coolish neutral with the taupes. I love it, the quality of the shadows is impeccable and there is a great mix of shades, a few mattes, pretty shimmers, no ridiculous glitterbombs and fabulous colour payoff throughout. It would be perfect if Naked 1 is warm, Naked 2 is neutral and Naked 3 is cool, but I can't tell from the current photos whether Naked 3 runs cooler or not. If it does I'll buy it!
ReplyDeleteI feel like Naked 3 could run warm/neutral but that could also be my terrible attempt to suss out these things. I've honestly never really cared about my palettes being warm/cool/neutral but for the price I'm paying and the risk I'm taking buying it online I really fret over it haha ! Thanks so much for your input :)
ReplyDeleteI have N1 and N2 and use both palettes. However I find I use N2 more frequently because it sits on top of my N1! Really, you can mix and match colours beautifully from both palettes. I don't worry about warm and cool tones as I think it really depends on what you want to achieve with your eye makeup. The quality is fabulous and long lasting. I am definitely going to get N3 as I like the fact that they are new colours and adore rosy tones. I have hazel eyes (brown, green and gold flecks) and adore pink/rose colours and I have no doubt that Urban Decay has created gorgeous colours. The browns that go with the rose colours are different from the ones in N1 and N2. Personally, I think the 3 palettes will work well together. For instance I can see some of the rose colours from N3 with the gold/coppery colours in N1. You can't go wrong with any of these palettes.
ReplyDeleteoh noo haha this didn't help my indecisiveness at all ;3
Deletei would love to have all three actually but i also want the lorac pro palette and the stila palettes. ARGH what is WRONG with me D:
thanks for dropping by my blog heather :)
ReplyDeleteI've been resisting my urge to buy any of the naked palette but it's definitely on my list! I'd probably go with 1 or 3, just the right amount of browns and neutrals, I don't tend to use black eyeshadow too much!
